How to Have the Churchie Satisfied?

How to Have the Churchie Satisfied?
Samuel Machado

Church! It's a tough one!
Yes! It's hurting to prophesy what is done within the Walls! 1 John 1:9

Today's Church and the Ancient Israelites stand same.
They are no different. They are like cousins.

As the ancient ones were, so are the current ones.
We choose to believe and accept what we desire to.

We have liquidated the commandments to a comfy chronicle.
And like Uncle Ravi Zacharias reiterates: We have built Cathedrals and have not seen our stained hands!

O LORD! How I desire the Church would repent and be filled with His Glory! 2 Chronicles 7:14
How my souls longs to see His Feet and Hands flourish in His Love and Grace!

But, I have found a stubborn heifer instead, declares the LORD. Hosea 4:16
A fold of stiff-necked Israelites who falsify their religious affiliation. Acts 7:51

As I pen this oracle, I see Christians booming in anger like the Old timers.
We resist the Spirit of the LORD as the Israelites did.

Church also desists the denouncement herald.
They long to hear blessings and prosperity.

But the WORD is One and the Same. It never changes. Isaiah 40:8
It disciplines, chastises and glorifies the Holy One. Rev 3:19

It both rebukes and challenges. Hebrews 4:12,16
Church! There is no "Free Passage".

So, Let's see what a "Churchie Soul" Seeks:

A Churchie is bound to the limits of the pastoral accolades and doctrinal shields.
He\She lingers, hovers and glides through the roof top of the Church.

They steal the show with their arduous deal of influence and irony.
They serve on Sundays, Fun days and Show days.

They assume the art of singing, dancing and music as true worship.
Also they harpoon on their discipleship studies.

As their biblical knowledge explodes, so does their pride.
Suddenly they are envied with a surge in a friend's promotion.

Feats of Events and Camps dampen their hearts of service.
Their obedience to Christ takes a back seat to their busy schedules.

Pastoral Obedience is considered precedent to the Lord's Voice.
Sunday Christianity is strongly authenticated.

The World is just a phantom to parade.
Christ is shortened  to a Chronology in Facts and Futures.

Hearing the Itchy Words is termed "Prophetic".
Yet in it all, CHRIST is Patient and Loving.

So Church, this is what our LORD asks of you:
"Come and Drink from me"

Let's again hear what CHRIST says:
"My food," said Jesus, "is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work." John 4:34

I hope you will find Him before it's time.
Jeremiah 29:13
