Can "3000 Demons" Possess a Single Soul?

What does the Scripture reveal?

Please turn to the Gospel of Luke.

In Chapter eight, We read about a man who lived in the tombs.

No Chains or Shackles were good enough to hold him.

He broke it like wood before fleeing to the far end of the wilderness.

He lived in the grave yard with no attire.

He nested with the dead and rotten.

He was rotting with the maggots.

He was hopeless and beyond cure.

In simple words, he was beyond redemption.

He had no way out. His fate was sealed.

But the startling turnaround happens, when he meets CHRIST...

The Founder and Finisher of HOPE....

The Scripture says: He came to meet CHRIST as HE climbed out of the boat.

Come! Imagine! Picturize the LORD of Heavens climbing out of the boat!

And there came the "Most Detestable" looking man on Planet Earth.

He had 3000 demons inside his frail body. For, we learn that the name of the demon was Legion.

It also means: Demons do have a name and portfolio with it. It is interesting right.

In the spiritual realm, they do have characteristics like the physical too. Only our LORD can teach it.

We know from the Roman History, a Legion meant 3000 soldiers.

Hence, we draw a conclusion on the figure. And we conclude on the subject.

One more interesting fact:

The Scripture also states a warning for those who had been delivered.

Let's read: Matthew 12:43-45

Matthew 12:43-45New Living Translation (NLT)

“When an evil spirit leaves a person, it goes into the desert, seeking rest but finding none.

 Then it says, ‘I will return to the person I came from.’ 

 So it returns and finds its former home empty, swept, and in order.

 Then the spirit finds seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they all enter the person and live there. 

 And so that person is worse off than before. 

 That will be the experience of this evil generation.”

That's more fascinating. Isn't it!

Indeed Vulnerable for a Greater Pain.

Imagine "Seven Times" more than the old ones.

Oh! LORD! It wreaks my heart!

In essence, we have no "BIBLICAL limit" on Demonic Possession counts and levels into a person.

Rather! We are called to be wise like serpents in these end times and press towards Holiness. Matthew 10:16

Remember it and Remind the Church and the World! We have a Heaven and Hell for sure!

And CHRIST is the only way into Heaven!

We do know now, demons exist.

And HELL their home does exist as well.
