*An Angel of Authority Knocked King Herod Dead!*

*Do you know there are Authorities in the Heavenly realm?.* We see it clearly in Ephesians Six. Do you also know *Angels of Authority* exist in the Kingdoms or Democracies or Monarchies?.

*Friends* , let us take time to reflect on what happens to King Herod. Acts 12:18 Onward..

*The Death of Herod* 

Now *Herod* was angry with the people of Tyre and Sidon, and they came to him with one accord, and having persuaded Blastus, the king's chamberlain, they asked for peace, because their country depended on the king's country for food. 

On an appointed day *Herod* put on his royal robes, took his seat upon the throne, and delivered an oration to them. And the people were shouting, “ *The voice of a god, and not of a man!”*

 *Immediately an angel of the Lord struck him down, because he did not give God the glory,* and he was eaten by worms and breathed his last. But the word of God increased and multiplied.

 *Hallelujah! Points to Ponder:*

1. *Angels of Authority* Have a *Portfolio* and a *Mandate* from the King of Kings.

2. *Angels* take note of the Earthly Authorities and Ensure they don't cross boundaries. When Herod failed to Give Glory to God, he sealed his fate. It was part of the Angelic mandate 

3. The Angel didn't seek *Permission* or Approval from God. They followed the Mandate as Given.

4. The *Church also has Angels* of Authority and they follow their Mandates.

5. *Angels of Authority* are also Commanded to Guard and Shield the Leaders in Authority.

 *Hallelujah! Holy Spirit Reigns!*
