HOW AND WHY ONE Should CONSIDER AND LEARN TO READ the BIBLE IN THE RIGHT WAY?
HOW AND WHY ONE Should CONSIDER AND LEARN TO READ the BIBLE IN THE RIGHT WAY?
Samuel Machado
The Word Bible means Books or Book of Books.
By the way it’s a Greek Word for BOOK.
It’s no super-natural term with special genie effects.
It is not a magic wand that drives the demon away, when you lift it or place it by your bed side :)
Bible is the collection of Lord’s Words to men through the History pages to aid us know who we are and who He is.
Only the Bible clearly portrays the picture of human life and its destiny with its uncompromising truth.
No other book will give you the answer as clear as the Lord’s Word.
The Origin, Purpose, Morality and Destiny of life is well explained and It is the only explanation that will aid you to live your life in fullness found in it.
The Scripture reveals both the heart of God and the state of man.
It’s God’s vantage point in other words toward us.
The Bible not only diagnoses the problem of sin and suffering (root cause of all we despair and dread) but also sponsors the remedy made by Heaven.
The Scripture will promise you the truly vital one that eternally matters; “It’s HOPE”.
In the world you will surely find hopelessness and not hope.
Yup!
This HOPE is not available anywhere else in this massive macrocosm except at the feet of Jesus Christ our Lord.
Bible will explain it to you when you diligently search it.
Now having grasped it, one has to diligently practice on how to read the Scriptures.
This is a very important habit to cultivate as a diligent disciple of our Lord.
If we don’t, we will surely miss the essence of why we have the scriptures given to us through much blood shed and sacrifices.
This topic would have raised your eyebrows; “How One Should Not Read the Bible? “.
But my question is: Are you ready to accept the change when it’s offered?
Let’s begin.
1. Bible should be read for its essence with the help of the Lord Himself.
Nobody can explain to you the scripture in its purest essence than the one who wrote it.
Psalms 32:8, Daniel 2:28
2. The Scriptures should be read in its context and not as chapters and verses.
Avoid reading one verse a day, random choice of the Word by flipping the pages blindly etc.
3. The Word of God was given so that we will know the Principles of the Living God and follow them in every part of life.
We all live in a fallen world and we were wielded to the principles of this world from birth. To turn away from the world is to disagree with its principles and put on the principles of the Higher order and purity. And the principles of Christ is found in the Scriptures page to page.
4. It’s not about how much Knowledge you have in or about the Bible but how much you have committed to follow its precepts.
One can be a biblical scholar and still be the devil.
One need not know much about the Scripture but if He obeys it by revelation; it’s all that matters.
5. There is no secondary evidence needed to believe in the Almighty God. The Bible is all sufficient. And you have to accept it whole-heatedly.
Bible cannot be contradicted or wrongly indicted by a demon from hell or by human fallacy.
No appalling onslaught is capable to do it
6. Biblios (Bible) is not a license to Heaven issued by Heaven’s Consulate. It’s the way pointer and it points to Jesus Christ.
One has to obey to enjoy its blessing now and forevermore.
No special entries :). 2 Tim 3:12
7. The Scripture needs to be handled with humility and gentleness. It’s the weapon of love to direct a disciple’s heart to the Great God Almighty.
Handling the Word rightly will give the discernment to identify the deception that comes in the form of false teaching, prophesies and practices.
Remember the words of Paul to Timothy.
8. If you have your life dedicated to know the Bible; you have done the right thing you can ever do.
It will help you to reach heights that you have not imagined and it will make you an overcomer.
9. The Word of God is the all-time help to get us going.
Keep a constant love for the word and it will preserve you at all times.
Shalom,
Samuel Machado
