The City will Fall!
Her Glory is lost! Cried the Prophet!
Return to the LORD Your GOD!
Surrender to Your enemies! Cried the Prophet!
In Obedience, Your life shall remain!
In repentance, You shall return to the Promised Land! Cried the Prophet!
In His LOVE, HE shall save you again!
In His Covenant, HE shall redeem you again! Cried the Prophet!
In the Corner, In the whimper, stood Daniel!
Listening to the tears of the Prophet Jeremiah!
Daniel kept the WORD hidden in his heart!
He carried them in FEAR into the foreign land!
He remembered the tears of the prophet!
He felt the Pain of the Obedient!
He resolved in his heart to abide by the CROSS!
He did not deny the LORD, even in a foreign land!
Daniel! Heard the Prophet and Held His Cross!
Indeed becoming One with the WORD of GOD!
Church! Listen to the Sound of Jeremiah!
Abide like Daniel!
