The Modern Day Moses : Mount Sinai

You might be wandering about the title and then on the above picture J.

What is the relativity or parallel on them?  Why a modern day Moses is mentioned with a man in a cripple’s cabin?

This was one of the wonderful lessons I learnt this Sunday as I was heading back.

As we were returning home from Church, we happened to meet this nomad Moshe.

What do you see in the pic?

A man in his mid-40’s with a nomadic lifestyle with his cab without an engine.

It’s right. He is a nobody in the city of millions. He is hardly noticed.

He is not a notable figure in the streets for sure.

His looks are normal and his feats are not so great. He is a wanderer.

He doesn’t seem to possess anything except the wheel he was seated upon.

No home, No degree, No reputation, No future. It seems like no earthly hope.

Also there is nothing good about him in the earthly sense or knowledge. You can’t find googling about him J.

But there is something incredible about this lad. He is way above the normal and the natural phenomenon. He is bound heavenward. Col 3:2

He is Saved and He is on a God given mission.

And that is the only spectacular life on earth.

We bumped into the scene when we saw him riding at a high speed in the wide road leading to Guindy.

Also we had a note on the Scriptures behind his cart.  Psalms 138:8 and 1 John 4:8

“The LORD will perfect that which concerns me.” Psalms 138:8

“God is love.” 1 John 4:8

We had to drop a sudden boost of our bike and wait for the marshaling Moses.

I knew our Lord made us stop for an exciting reason in the middle of a hot day. And we were prepared to experience it.

Micah 7:15

And as we approached to meet the man in his trawler, his face lit up with concerns.

We then introduced ourselves and inquired about his whereabouts and where he is heading.

We were glad that he was heading on a God given direction and to find a refuge home in a nearby city.

His faith on the Lord was awakening to the soul. He thanked the Lord for His Faithfulness and mercy continuously.

We were taken aback and felt the selfish soul in ourselves. We remembered we have taken a lot of stuffs for granted.

We learnt an important lesson that day at that moment especially.

And to make the scenario interesting, the man asked to pray for us.

We were struck. Often at times, it’s us who would pray but this was different.

We were extremely blessed by his prayers and later aided him on his journey before bidding bye.

He continued to pedal his bike towards heavens.

Folks, there will be a million surprise when we reach Heaven.

Tons of  folks like Moses who were thankful and grateful irrespective of what they had on earth will populate it.

They lived among us but didn’t seek anything earthly.
