What can happen in a stroll?
What can happen in a stroll?
Samuel Machado
We left for a Chai Break. And these were the events that followed:
1. I met Leoroy (A Believer who is 20 percent saved!) as I waited outside the reception for the brothers and inquired of his faith in the LORD.
I had a scrutiny check on the Word he had listened that Sunday at Church. He took time to recall and acknowledged his lack of memory over the converse.
2. I met Durga Das,an Old friend from Orissa and had a chat. He also joined us for the stroll till a brief passage and ended up knowing our faith once again. (he is an unbeliever)
3. Arun and Sarath made their way through and we had a stretch and cliche.
Sarath left without words over the ongoing challenges and Arun G accompanied me on his way out.
4. And at the wake of the moment, Benny (A Believer who should be around 50 Percent Saved) walked in and we had a short meet again. In the process, came to know about Lokesh back-slidden state. Benny was disappointed clearly. He also shared that he was reluctant to share it earlier due to certain reasons.
5. We started strolling ahead and we discussed on the life's stand at Choice tea stall. The need for intimacy and the lack.
In the event met our little sister in Christ, Divya and I had a brief time encouraging her to walk in faith.
6. And after our Chai, we prayed in the busy traffic, got a reasonable rick for Arun and headed back to workspot.
And as i entered the park within the campus, I again met Benny and then came Kiran with his friends. (All are Unsaved, but we have a friendly chat often!)
7. After all these stuffs, I reached the lift lobby. And there were folks around wishing and greeting. I drew strength in His Grace.
We had a chat again and boarded the lift to our floors. I can;t even remember some names. I often feel guilty for doing so. I prayed to make me remember the folks He would bring.
8. In the Lift, it again happened to meet some of the Old School guys and wish them good. It includes Managers, Leads, Workers, Dusters and all.
Church! It all happened in an hour..
It was once asked in our discipleship session in NLAG... How many folks do you know in your bay?
I couldn't say any figure. I said.. almost everybody.. I happened to meet them in God's will for His Gospel sake... and my then Pastor replied in his mind and mouth.... he sounds like my son who responds during his attendance check....
I understood that response.. Men who are not of our corridors (Men who belong to Christ Alone) do know what men think in their hearts....
And we do what exactly JESUS did.. Just walk ahead.... forget what men say.. they are grasses.. just move on....
We the Christians have no place in Churches too!
Welcome to Christianity!
We need Spirit filled Christians who will carry His Love to every nook and corner....
Come, Walk with Christ!
Shalom,
Samuel Machado
