How to Make a Happy and a Joyous Christian Family?

How to Make a Happy and a Joyous Christian Family?
Samuel Machado

Do you know what Family means to me?
It’s the Holy Trinity J.

Family means God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
Family means love, grace and sacrifice that constantly emanates through godly order and submission.

Can’t you imagine our God is a Family and He wonderfully He has expressed it to us?
When we capture this revelation we will know that the FAMILY is where our service begins.

The institution of marriage brings forth not only a union but a godly communion.
And this communion called the FAMILY brings forth the wisdom and knowledge of God.

Moreover, when all the families in Christ humble themselves to a meek living, the manifold wisdom of God is revealed to the whole world. 2 Chron 7:14
And we the Church desperately need to get back to building godly families.

Let’s start with the simple steps:

1.        Never take your Family for granted. Have a grateful check.
We tend to value the folks around us than the folks within. That is not the right thing to do.

2.       Voice your Family unto the Lord at all times. 1 Thess 5:11, Col 1:11, Heb 13:1,2, Romans 12:10
Prayer is the only gum that binds the family in all adverse states. Pray for each other.

3.       Maintain the Godly order and respect with its due honour and appreciation as mentioned in the Scriptures.
Parents should lead in example by treating all their children alike in Christ. Eph 5:22-26

4.      Every home should carry a Vision of Christ. A Vision with the right passion leads the home heavenwards. Prov 29:18, Hos 4:6
A visionless home goes nowhere. It’s like leading to a no destiny land. For Christ our Lord hurls visions to both individual and the family for the benefit of His body.

5.       Maintaining a simple, satisfied living shovels off all the senseless burdens. Matt 6:33, 1 Tim 6:6, Gal 6:4
Place money, assets, aspirations and careers in their right place.

6.      Constant Gathering for the Adoration and Acceptance keeps the lamp burning. Heb 10:23,25
Never allow your children to take solitude posts at home. There should be no room for the devil. Maintain discipline.

7.       Never allow the elders or parents to cross the lines into the family. Gen 2:20,27
Especially the husband should not allow his mother or father to deal with his issues. And Vice Versa.  It applies to the wife as well.

8.      Make godly friendships with other Church families and learn to live for/bear with each other.
This sets a pattern for the next generation and honors accountability.

9.      Also be wise in your conduct to the outsiders. Phil 2:5, Romans 13:6
Our children will watch over our moves and speech. Beware how you call yourself!

Let’s make Christ the Center of our homes and lives.
And when our families grew in the godly disciplines set forth by our Lord in the Holy Scriptures,  we will be the glory of God that never departs.

Maranatha!
