Kindly have a read from Matthew 1: 1 to 5:

This is the genealogy[a] of Jesus the Messiah[b] the son of David, the son of Abraham:

Abraham was the father of Isaac, Isaac the father of Jacob, Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers, Judah the father of Perez and Zerah, whose  mother was Tamar, Perez the father of Hezron, Hezron the father of Ram, Ram the father of Amminadab, Amminadab the father of Nahshon,  Nahshon the father of Salmon, Salmon the father of Boaz, whose mother was Rahab, Boaz the father of Obed, whose mother was Ruth, Obed the father of Jesse,  and Jesse the father of King David.

Did you see what the scripture says?

Rahab had a husband and his name was Salmon.

Can you imagine a former harlot into a 

​SAVING 

episode?

Church! Is it possible?

Yes! His Grace makes it possible.

Rahab finally had a man who will love her for her very essence.

She no longer had to sell herself for a living.

She no longer had to wear those clumsy clothes and ridiculous make-ups.

She no longer had to stride in shame.

She no longer had to face a bullying society.

For she had found the Grace that can save her.

And this "Grace" brought her a husband who would both protect her and provide for her.

She had a "Salmon of Grace" for the rest of her life.

She had no fears in bringing up Boaz in a community of chaos and confusion.

She had found the "Grace of God" in the "Forgiveness" of a Loving Savior.

It showed up in "Salmon" who was daring to defeat the odds.

Salmon stands a "Front-Runner" to Hosea. Hosea 3:1

Church! We need Salmon and Hosea today for real revival and restoration!

Also, In it all, Most importantly, Rahab falls in a lineage where our Savior will appear.

What a Privilege!
