Kill the Guards !!!

Kill the Guards !!!

Samuel Machado

Kill the Guards!

Roared the King!

With no reason known to man!

In Chaos and Commotion within the Fold!

With no choice left for the ruling reign!

Under strict Roman Command!

He declared the death to guards who guarded the Apostle!

Yet! Herod was startled within his heart!

The interrogations had no treason!

The Guards had no hand with the Apostle!

Peter had no favor from the Palace or Priest!

And, The Nation certainly stood against him!

Yet! Peter disappeared! Where did he go?

How can it be? What really did happen?

Pondered Herod!

With no revelation reaching within!

In failed coup! In Shattered Schemes!

He moved from Judea!

Yet! The Specter of Peter's Disappearance!

Haunted his heart all the more!

Herod! Failed to Humble!

Falling in Pride!

Herod Had a Chance!

Yet, He ruined it all!

Shalom,

Samuel Machado
