Why is CHRISTIANITY so Shallow in this Age of Reason and Treason?
The Christian Faith is more traumatized than ever in this age of reason and treason.
We have both ridiculed and mocked the HOLY NAME by approving and acclaiming man-made heresies.
What has caused the steep downfall of a HOLY FAITH; that has been an Unshakable Armour throughout all the history?
It reminds me right now of a cry written by Arthur Guiterman (1871-1943).
Arthur was right in his own poem. And let's see what we have done in TERMS:

We have meddled the WORD and Mocked the LORD.
We have Shredded the SPIRIT and Stomped the Called.
We have Eroded the Pure and have Paraded the Pest.
We have Eluded the Saint and have Saluted the Stained.
We have Grafted the Spineless and have Shunned the Sails.
We have Reduced the Cross and have Called it Sane.
We have Manipulated our Will and named it Free.
We have Created Doctrines to Direct our Carnal Needs.
We have Revered the Wisdom Down Under and have Withheld the WISDOM Up Above.
We have Lied to our own hearts and have listened to our own lusts.
We have Cheated the CHURCH and have Castled the Cross.
We have Abated the abandoned and Masked the Blameless.
We have Squandered the Blessings and have Incurred the Curses.
We have Rendered Fame and have Acquired a Name.
We have Endorsed Soulishness and have Called them Spirituality.
We have Missed the Mark and have Called it Grace.
We have Acquired FADING Treasures and have Termed it Prosperity.
We have Accumulated VAIN Gold and have called it Blessings.
We have Nailed the Truth and have Rescued Barabbas.
We have Recruited Judas and have Stoned Stephen.
We have built Massive Theaters and have called them Assembly.
We have ruined Homes and have Called them Foster.
We have used CHRIST and have labelled "LOVE".
We have Measured Hope only at Gaze.
We have Pressed Altitude and Messed Attitude.
We have Grieved for the Flesh and not for the Spirit.
We have Checked our Lists and have barely seen our Stained Hands.
We have Clothed us in Robes and Have not seen the Leprosy Within.
We have Turned the CROSS to Seven Steps and have Endorsed Pseudo- CHRIST.
We have Ruined the LORD's Call and have called it Repentance.
We have Opened the Highway and Have called it the Narrow Gate.
We have Lurked to Lodge and have called it Shelter.
We have Compromised and have called it Compassion.
We have Hardened our Hearts and have called it Wisdom.
We have Posted Pride and have not Sought a Prayer Closet.
We have Lingered men and have left the Savior's Bosom.
We have Made Events and Have Called it Revival.
We have Invented Programs and have Called it Maturity.
We have walked away from the Cross.
And we are the CHURCH!
Where is CHRIST now in our hearts and lives?
