Why China Makes a Giant Leap in Faith Against India’s Slump?
We are a huge nation as the People Republic of China.
But we are into the very core of what we are supposed to do as followers of Christ in bringing His kingdom on earth.
Meaning; to be the Church of God as Christ always wanted to be here and in China.
Most of us are aware of the rapid exponential growth in Christian Faith in the whole Land of China.
The scores or figures are hard to track. It far exceeds the human limitations. The spontaneous emission is extremely rapid.
The Chinese souls in the midst of a heavy, ruthless communistic ideology, increases not only in count but also in Faith.
What makes it possible or we can also ask; Why it’s not happening in the Indian Soil?
Please pay attention to the reasons:
(This will aid you to see clearly and to correct your ways. Also it will you get out of your phony Christianity and lukewarm life which is witnessed all around India.)
1. The Hunger for the Word of God is constantly on the rise in the Chinese soil.
This is totally lacking in India. And Indians are not concerned about it. It’s like allowing a cancer to grow.
2. Believers in China place the highest value on their Faith in Jesus Christ more than their own life or the lives of those whom they dearly love.
It means more to them than their own family, children, job, aspirations, careers, status etc. They always want to please their Lord. Do Indian Christians know such a pleasing is sought by God?. Have they read Matt 10:37-39 or Luke 14:26?
3. Most importantly, they walk in the Spirit of God. They deny everything for the cause of Christ and head into every direction the Holy Spirit leads them. It’s like Paul reciting Phil 1:21and Gal 2:20. For example; A Chinese doctor tears apart his degree for the sake of preaching the Gospel in every street. He declares; Only Jesus and only His mission all the time. And his action proves it. And God honors it J. Wake up India.
4. The Christian leadership in China is more like the biblical elders and stewardship which makes them more accountable and responsible for the benefit of the body of Christ. In India we don’t see this much. We need to get back to the Scriptures and become it.
5. An enduring love for the Word of God. It rocks me to the core when I see the Chinese Christians give their time for the Word. This is extremely opposite in India. There is literally no hunger or thirst for the revelation of the Word. Folks in India are majorly carried away by worship in the form of music and ministry in their own terms. I often see Christians in India spend more time on their mobiles, FB’s, Ipads and whatever is non-sense for their own fallacy.
6. Chinese believers are extremely diligent in decision makings. Their decisions are always towards the progress in Christ. If they find a career or a wedding or an education that could threaten their relationship with the Lord; they would not give in. They make JESUS the only top priority. Whereas in India; I hardly have seen folks who need JESUS or more of Jesus every day. In many Churches I have seen Him only in the oral presentation.
7. A deep cry of repentance that leads to Holiness is the vital crux for the Chinese revival. In India; Holiness is impressed in seclusion, jewelry and abandonment of material stuffs. We have never pursued it as an internal matter that reflects itself in thought, speech and deed.
8. Chinese Christians are not stage performers or pulpit seekers. Their mission is profound as there is no profanity in their hearts. Their desire is to gift Jesus to every lost soul. They back up Apostle Paul in redeeming time. Indian Christians have no clue about it.
9. Martyrdom is like a nominal meal and prison is like their second home. They submit to God like Paul and Peter even when they are thrown into prison for their faith. Prison, Persecution and Poverty are Old time terms for Indian Christians; especially for those in South India.
10. Radical faith is exercised by the Christian community in China whereas it’s strongly preached in India J. Indians are good example of Plastic Christians and they rightly follow the American model J.
11. Discipleship is seen as the Study and Submission to the Word of God in China and no compromise is strictly towards it. But in India; it’s a topic to discuss J. It’s in the papers not in the lives.
No wonder the Chinese Christians have more access to the Heaven’s door than the Indians.
Are we really gonna see revival in India?
It will never happen until every Christian knows that He is not yet committed His life at the cross. For many Christians have not even got closer to the shadow of the cross. They want a Jesus to bless them on their earthly desires and not the Jesus of the Bible.
Mega Churches are more mundane than ever and they have no clue what their portfolio is.
I was part of one and I totally know that the Scripture is true and thank God; He allowed a persecution in Jerusalem.
If you are an Indian Christian; and you want to see Christ rise up to His Stature and position.
You have got it. You need to do that; exactly that the Holy Spirit tells you..
Get back to Christ!
He will surely ask you to do what you don’t want to.. J
Whatever pleases you may not be right for your growth….
